This weekend at the Carroll Invitational at West Guth, the boys and girls both placed second in the JV division. This Thursday they will have a chance for gold at the King Invitational at King High School. Go Trojans!

Thursday, September 28, 2017 8:00 AM Place 11 Points 355 Meet Recap The Trojans finished 11th place out of 27 schools. Top runner was Jacob Martinez, finishing 13th. This past weekend, the Moody Trojans Cross Country competed at TAMUK Invitational in Kingsville. Jacob Martinez is a freshmen competing on the JV level. Jacob finished second place after leading most of the race. Finishing the two mile course in 11:41. The week before in Beeville, Jacob finished first in a time of 11:30.
Last week in Beeville, the Moody Boys JV team nearly beat Alice to claim 1st place. This would have made it two weeks in a roll finishing 1st. Tim Escamilla started the season where he left off last year, strong. He finished 3rd in the freshmen division at district in 2016.
